Golf

We now offer a fully equipped golf set comprising of full set of Hippo or Ram clubs complete with trolleys, golf balls and tees. This will ensure you have all the equipment necessary to visit the great courses on the island and enjoy the pleasures of golf in stunning locations. On Lewis & Harris we have the eighteen hole course at Stornoway Golf Club and down on Harris just one hours drive from Braighe House is the fabulously scenic 9 hole Scarista Golf Club.  So for Golfing just book the equipment, plan your visits and we can organise your games in advance and provide you a vehicle to hire should you need one.  Braighe House is ideal for a short golfing holiday on the Outer Hebrides.

Cycling

Each year more and more of our guests take to exploring the island with cycles. So we have purchased new bikes for our guests to hire so it takes away the hassle of carrying your own all the way up to the islands. We also supply a bike carrier for your car or one of our own cars should you need one.  This offers a great option for guests to plan their holidays or short cycling breaks. With all our facilities you can plan the perfect holiday.

Fishing

The Islands are renowned for their fishing and here at Braighe House we aim to provide you with all you need to go on a days fishing when visiting. On offer is fresh water trout lochs and some fantastic salmon fishing rivers, the later may of course be expensive but most trout lochs are free and well stocked. Free as well is the Sea fishing which goes on right at the end of the Garden at Braighe House! Our location is on the sea front looking over to the Isle of Skye and throughout the year the beach in front of our Guest house is fished for sea trout, mackerel, and many other wild fish. This is one location you will need only two minutes to get on site, so with our fishing equipment on hand to hire you can have yourself set up and casting within five minutes!
